Actors Test shots

This is our actor to play David Fincher (Stephen Wilson)
He is the only actor we need at the moment for our thriller opening.
I chose him, as he is an ex-police man and will be able to show the body language needed for our detective

Recce Shots.

The following images is a document put together showing the locations in which we want to shoot our Thriller at, the bottom four images are the back locations which we could use.

Asset List & Costume Ideas.

These pictures show the equipment that we need to film our opening scene with, I have included the main things as camera and tripod as these will be the main things needed for the filming, the lights are then there to give us more light in darker areas that we will be filming. I also included the fact of needing a battery charger for in-case we need to re-charge the battery when done filming on days. Got a tape and tape case in order to keep the tape safe and the tape is so that we have something to record the footage on. Battery is there in order to keep the camera going so we can film. We included a bag so that the camera and extras are kept safe when we are not currently filming.

Vox Pop.

Although our target audience at the moment is 18-25 males we thought it would help to also interview people from different age ranges and gender too, so we got a wider idea of what a potential target audience may be.

The Game:

- David Fincher (main character) walks out of Charing Cross station.

- Walks down road to coffee shop.

- Goes into shop and gets coffee.

- Puts coffee down on table to get sugar.

- Phones goes, puts everything on table to answer phone.

- A man switches the sugar with a plain sachet.

- Main character puts 'sugar' in coffee.

- Walks out shop takes a sip.

- Walks down strand.

- Heads over to the police station.

- Blacks out just before he gets to the doors.

- Wakes up in a bed in an empty house.

- Hears banging on door so opens curtains and looks out of window.

- See's a car pulled up outside house.

Thriller Synopsis

This is our group presentation on a Thriller Synopsis. For this task myself (Benn) and Abbey wrote about and explained the different sub genres of a Thriller, Peter then went on to write about the Enigma Code and different Narrative techniques. This exercise helped us get to know are group a bit better  and to see our different levels, as well as helping us remember and learn some new things.
